Neighborhood Honors are a fun way to gain recognition as a regular EveryBlock contributor and, most importantly, a helpful neighbor.

Each time you post to the site, thank someone or make other contributions, you’ll build a reputation that counts toward your Neighborhood Honors level. Your level will be displayed on your public profile page and next to your name every time you post to the site.

All users start at the first level, Neighbor. The Neighborhood Honors levels and requirements are:

Level 1: Neighbor

Get this by creating an EveryBlock account.

Level 2: Active Neighbor

Get this by achieving all of the following:

• Add your name.
• Fill in a short bio or add a profile photo.
• Post at least one comment or neighbor message.
• Receive at least one thanks for a comment or neighbor message you’ve posted.
• Give thanks to at least one other person.

Level 3: Block Booster

This level is reserved for users who’ve been active members of our site for at least three months, have contributed a lot of comments and messages and have accrued a significant number of thanks from their neighbors. We’re still gathering data to determine what those numbers are, and we’ll reveal them in the coming weeks.

Level 4: Community Champion

Like Block Booster, but better and for longer.

Level 5: Neighborhood Hero

Best. Neighbor. Ever. You’ve gotta really work for this one.
